My mantra as a Visual Facilitator: care, connect, move (and move). The passion for sustaining space (personal, team and organizational) through Visual Language.
Working with people and organizations, their relationships, what motivates them (us) and their personal and professional accompaniment have marked my personal and professional activity.
"Thinking" Hemisphere
I have a degree in Economics and Business Sciences from the University of Deusto (1992-1997). At the beginning of my professional activity, between 1997 and 2000, I was coordinator in Gipuzkoa of the Euskadiko Gazteriaren Kontseilua/Basque Youth Council (1998-2000), a public law entity of the Basque Government. My professional training, together with my personal concerns, took me to Mexico where, between 2000 and 2003, I coordinated the Human Resources department at Ipoderac, Puebla (Mexico), an organization that works to insert street children. During this period I combine my professional activity with teaching at the Universidad Iberoamericana- Puebla, Mexico. At that time I certified in the Management of non-profit organizations by the University of Monterrey, World Bank Institute and CEMEFI (Puebla, Mexico).
Upon my return from Mexico, I completed my training with the Master in Cooperation to Development by the University of the Basque Country (2003). During 2003 and 2015 I worked as coordinator of the International Cooperation department of the Alboan Foundation. During this time I complement my training in training, among others deepening in Leadership and Social Innovation at ESADE/Institute for Social Innovation (2001), the Team Capacity Building (Intrac, Oxford, Cambridge GB, 2003) and between 2008 and 2010 in Ignatian Spirituality and Social Leadership.
“Visual” hemisphere
In 2011, with the interest of telling, sharing and communicating my experiences and learnings, I opened a personal blog/diary which in 2012 gave rise to the creation of Muxote Potolo Bat SL as a company. From the fusion of my personal and professional activity, in 2013, I am a visiting researcher at the School of Social Work of Boston College (Boston, Massachusetts) where I discover the potential of my work in working with organizations, companies and communities using the Language Visual (my approach and focus to the discipline of Visual Thinking) as an engine of cohesion and change in teams, organizations and communities/society. As a result of this time, I am co-authoring with Fernando Vidal the book Pensamiento Visual, Murales para innovar (ed. Mensajero, 2015).
In the field of Visual Thinking I have trained with Kelvy Bird in “Generative Scribing” (Cologne, 2018) at Brandy Agerbeck’s “The Lab” (The Hague, 2017) and I have collaborated with Ole Qvist-Sørensen CEO of Bigger Picture (Denmark) among others.
I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of the IFVP (International Forum of Visual Practitioners) and member of the IAF (International Association of Facilitators).
The bridge: working with people, teams and organizations
From the accumulated experience of my work in the field of teams and organizations, the enormous potential that I discover and offer from #VidualThinking and with the interest of deepening in accompanying the development of teams, organizations and companies, I trained with Emana in Team Coaching (basic in 2016 and advanced in 2018) in addition to Systemic Support in Complex Organizations (Norgara, 2016).
In 2014 in person in Cape Cod Massachusetts and in 2015 and 2016 virtually (Ulab), I delve into the proposal offered by Otto Scharmer’s Theory U (Presencing Institute, MIT) for change in organizations and society.
Additionally, I have been trained as Consultant in cultural transformation tools at Barret Values Center/ Cultural Transformation Tools (Equilia, 2017).
Currently I dedicate my time and energy to the development of my company and my work team.
My main activity is between the strategic direction of the company and the support of people, teams and organizations, from the contribution of Visual Thinking as a strategic language and for working with people, teams and the development of organizations.
I offer, within the framework of my company, services as a (visual) consultant, deploying coaching and team support methodologies and organizational development and graphic facilitation, among others, under the Eye-kontact branding.
I also offer face-to-face and online training in collaboration with Emana training, bringing work closer of #VisualThinking as a bridge between ideas, people and teams and their organizations. At the same time, I offer in-company training to deploy the #VisualLanguage in companies and organizations, develop effective communication and strengthen cohesive, motivated and more efficient teams, and I collaborate with the University of Deusto in the training of its teaching staff and its alumni. and students.
And I continue to share every day, since January 26, 2011, a drawing-message on my blog and on social networks that reaches more than 55,000 people daily.
